Aria2 is covered by the GNU General Public License, either version 2 or any later version at your option.

Version 2 of the License can also be found in the aria2 GitHub repository.

From the 25.03 toolchains on, license information can also be found in $EBROOTARIA2/share/licenses/aria2 after installing and loading the module.

User-installable modules (and EasyConfigs)

Install with the EasyBuild-user module: 

eb <easyconfig> -r
To access module help after installation and get reminded for which stacks and partitions the module is installed, use module spider aria2/<version>.

EasyBuild

Version 1.35.0 for CPE 21.12

  • Adapted from the EasyBuilders EasyConfig.

Version 1.36.0 for CPE 22.06 and later

  • Switched back to using dependencies build with EasyBuild just to be sure but otherwise a trivial upgrade.

  • There is extensive testing during the build process that can take 7 minutes or more.

  • Some extensions to the sanity checks.

  • For 23.09: The tests fail in a way that the testing does not continue, but it is not clear what the cause is. The program may only be partially functional. Testing is now disabled so that it builds at least.

Version 1.37 for CPE 24.03 and later

  • Trivial port of the EasyConfig for 1.36 for 23.09

  • 25.03: Added license information to the installation

Archived EasyConfigs

The EasyConfigs below are additional easyconfigs that are not directly available on the system for installation. Users are advised to use the newer ones and these archived ones are unsupported. They are still provided as a source of information should you need this, e.g., to understand the configuration that was used for earlier work on the system.
