arpack-ng

License information

The arpack-ng package is distributed under a BSD-style license a copy of which can be found in the COPYING file in the arpack-ng GitHub repository.

From 25.03 on, the license information can also be found in $EBROOTARPACKMINNG/share/licenses/arpack-ng after installing and loading the module.

User-installable modules (and EasyConfigs)

Install with the EasyBuild-user module: 

eb <easyconfig> -r
To access module help after installation and get reminded for which stacks and partitions the module is installed, use module spider arpack-ng/<version>.

EasyBuild

Version 3.9.0 for cpeGNU in 22.08 and 22.12 (archived)

  • The EasyConfig is developed in LUST and already switched to the CMake build process while those for older versions in the EasyBuilders and CSCS repositories still use ConfigureMake

  • Variants compiled with and without OpenMP enabled to avoid conflicts with multiple LibSci libraries.

Version 3.9.1 for cpeGNU in 24.03

  • Update from previous easyconfigs.

  • 25.03: Add license information to the installation.

Archived EasyConfigs

The EasyConfigs below are additional easyconfigs that are not directly available on the system for installation. Users are advised to use the newer ones and these archived ones are unsupported. They are still provided as a source of information should you need this, e.g., to understand the configuration that was used for earlier work on the system.
