C-ares is coverd by the MIT license. The full text is available on the web site.

From version 1.34.5 onwards, the license information can also be found in the LICENSE.md file in $EBROOTCMINARES/share/licenses/c-ares after installing and loading the module.

User-installable modules (and EasyConfigs)

Install with the EasyBuild-user module: 

eb <easyconfig> -r
To access module help after installation and get reminded for which stacks and partitions the module is installed, use module spider c-ares/<version>.

EasyBuild

Version 1.16.1 for CPE 21.12 and later

  • Direct port of the EasyBuilders build recipe.

Version 1.18.1 for CPE 22.08 and later

  • Trivial version bump

Version 1.21.0 for CPE 23.09 and later

  • Trivial version bump, but started using variables for versions for easier updating.

Version 1.27.0 for CPE 24.03

  • Trivial port of the EasyConfig for 1.21.0 for 23.09.

Version 1.34.5 for CPE 25.03 and later

  • Trivial port of the EasyConfig for 1.27.0 for 24.03, but with a change of download instructions.

Archived EasyConfigs

The EasyConfigs below are additional easyconfigs that are not directly available on the system for installation. Users are advised to use the newer ones and these archived ones are unsupported. They are still provided as a source of information should you need this, e.g., to understand the configuration that was used for earlier work on the system.
