libgeotiff

License information

The license for libgeotiff can be found in the LICENSE file in the GitHub repository.

After installation and loading the module, the license can also be found in $EBROOTLIBGEOTIFF/share/licenses/libgeotiff/LICENSE.

Pre-installed modules (and EasyConfigs)

To access module help and find out for which stacks and partitions the module is installed, use module spider libgeotiff/<version>.

Install with the EasyBuild-user module: 

eb <easyconfig> -r

In the pre-installed stack since 26.03, before that it was a user-installable module.

EasyBuild

Version 1.7.1 for cpeGNU/22.08 and cpeGNU/23.09

  • The EasyConfig is derived from the EasyBuilders one.

Version 1.7.3 for cpeGNU 24.03

  • Trivial port of the EasyConfig for 1.7.1 in 23.09.

Version 1.7.4 for cpeGNU 25.03

  • Trivial port of the EasyConfig for 1.7.3 in 24.03.

  • Moved to the LUMI-SoftwareStack repository for 26.03. The EasyConfig parameters were changed to those compatible with EB 6.

    We also discovered that some packages use the include files in the form geotifff/geotiff.h rather than geotiff.h, which we solved by creating additional symbolic links in post_install_cmds.

Technical documentation (user EasyBuild installation)

The libgeotiff package used to be a user-installable package up to and including the LUMI/25.09 stack, but from the 26.03 stack onwards it is pre-installed on the system.

Archived EasyConfigs

The EasyConfigs below are additional easyconfigs that are not directly available on the system for installation. Users are advised to use the newer ones and these archived ones are unsupported. They are still provided as a source of information should you need this, e.g., to understand the configuration that was used for earlier work on the system.
