libpng

License information

The libpng license differs between versions of the softgware. All versions available on LUMI use the PNG Reference Library License version 2. See the "libpng-LICENSE.txt" file on the libpng web site.

From LUMI/23.12 on, the LICENSE file can also be found in the $EBROOTLIBPNG/share/licenses/libpng subdirectory after loading the module.

Pre-installed modules (and EasyConfigs)

To access module help and find out for which stacks and partitions the module is installed, use module spider libpng/<version>.

EasyBuild

Version 1.6.37 from CPE 21.06 on

  • The EasyConfig file is derived from the University of Antwerpen repository which itself is derived from the EasyBuilders one.

Version 1.6.38 from CPE 22.12 on

  • The EasyConfig is a trivial update of the 1.6.37 one with a modification taken from the EasyBuilders one.

Version 1.6.39 from CPE 23.03 on

  • The EasyConfig is a trivial update of the 1.6.38 one.

  • For LUMI/23.12, license information was added to the installation.

Version 1.6.40 from 24.03 on

  • The EasyConfig is a trivial update of the 1.6.39 one for LUMI/23.12.

Archived EasyConfigs

The EasyConfigs below are additonal easyconfigs that are not directly available on the system for installation. Users are advised to use the newer ones and these archived ones are unsupported. They are still provided as a source of information should you need this, e.g., to understand the configuration that was used for earlier work on the system.
