License information

The Scalasca version 2 licensing agreement can be found on the "Scalasca v2 License Agreement" page in the manuals.

Since version 2.6.2, this information is also available in $EBROOTSCALASCA/share/licenses/Scalasca after installing and loading the module.

User documentation

User-installable modules (and EasyConfigs)

Install with the EasyBuild-user module: 

eb <easyconfig> -r
To access module help after installation and get reminded for which stacks and partitions the module is installed, use module spider Scalasca/<version>.

EasyBuild support

Version 2.6.1 for CPE 23.09

  • The EasyConfig was contributed by Jan AndrĂ© Reuter of JSC and based on their EasyConfigs.

Version 2.6.1 for CPE 24.03

  • Reuse of EasyConfig for CPE 23.09.

Version 2.6.2 for CPE 24.03

  • Mostly a bugfix release. We omitted the message about Score-P for now.

  • Needed to unload craype-accel-amd-gfx90a for the cpeCray build as otherwise compilation failed. (This effectively turns off OpenMP offload when OpenMP is enabled.)

Archived EasyConfigs

The EasyConfigs below are additional easyconfigs that are not directly available on the system for installation. Users are advised to use the newer ones and these archived ones are unsupported. They are still provided as a source of information should you need this, e.g., to understand the configuration that was used for earlier work on the system.
